Finishing up an external pentest this week.

Flying out and breaking into a building next week.

Need to work on a viable field ready badge cloner....

Should do that before I leave.

Oh eris... Q4.

Nonstop tests. Back to back. Can’t get behind on reporting because it burns into the next test.

I’m caught up now.

Think I can maintain this. But wow!!!!

Here’s your hacking music for the day.

Tear the everloving shit out of your targets.

Working on finances, as one does in a capitalist society. Need to have money for healthcare, for retirement.

Spending time with family is my one true joy.

Everything else is work. And its a steady, monotonous, continuous, no benchmark, work.

It pays.

Money is good. Money is stability. Without money, you’re fucked.

I’m getting closer to paying off student loans. Actually building a savings account.

Can’t think of anything else but this.

At a point in life where I’m living in the moment. I’m not thinking about the next thing. Not planning for the far future.

I know people say to live in the moment.

But I don’t like this. Don’t like not having a direction that I’m aiming at.

A lot of things at once. Nothing particularly bad. Just a lot.

Getting nauseous and light headed.

I’m good! Taking it in the teeth as I generally do.

Surrounded by good folk. Need to push through, sleep, push through again.

Just re-upping this offer: because being comfortable with git is a barrier to entry to many FS/OSS projects, and because I care deeply about lowering those barriers, I will tutor anyone who asks for help with git, and/or connect them with any mentor(s) they might prefer.

I'll do this while I put energy and work into making the tool more approachable, and into making better tools and learning paths.

Boosts gratefully appreciated.

It's Happening!!!

The @PINE64
Dev Pre-order is live!

This, along w/ the @purism progress, mean that we now have two very solid avenues for Open Sourced Hardware Phones that are geared to run FOSS Linux (Not Android!) OS's!

Hi everyone!
Hung Tuan Tu is now live here at

Have folks heard of Wattpad? ( )

I’m looking for a place to start writing and publishing shorter stories. Something shy of publishing an actual book.

I’ve been off social media (Mastodon and Twitter) for about a month now...

(not counting a couple sporadic posts where I pushed something out and ran away.)

I didn’t even lurk all that much.

And damn has it felt great.

I really don’t want to come back 😂

I really REALLY don’t want to get back on twitter...

Cycling through a burnout phase. Gonna unplug for a couple of weeks.

Think I’ll head over to Cowtown and see if I can’t find my soul again.

See ya’ll if I see ya’ll.

Budgeting money and budgeting food almost act as stoic catharsis...

I limit some areas and restrict myself while enjoying the more sparse moments (food and nights out, etc) more deeply.

Finding having tighter control over myself brings me comfort in a chaotic world.

Which is interesting. Need to think this over more when I get a chance.

Anyhow. Not a way of life I would recommend for others unless they naturally arrived at it on their own.

Also have been budgeting a lot more.

Paying down my last couple of debts. (Car and student loan). Anything extra after that I’m shoving into a low fee index stock fund (VTWAX Total World).

I finally have a savings account.

Feel like I can finally breathe.

Come a long way from working at Budget Rent a Car after the war.
