Tinker @tinker

So what I’m understanding is that I need to make it look like I’m coming from the EU and choose EU settings in order to get a semblance of privacy protection from centralized surveillance web sites?

@tinker Fortunately there's a slew of VPN providers. :-)

@tinker unless it's about paying with an registered address located outside of the EU? There could be caveats.

@ng0 - Guess its time to become an eResident of Estonia. e-resident.gov.ee/

@tinker maybe bitcointopia.org could arrange something.. (is bitcointopia satire? at this point I'm literally unable to distinguish scams from jokes and real applications.. well, almost. thing is... wtf! and at least 1 company there (titor labs) has no website, so I call satire.. otoh it's in nowhere, nevada so that seems doable in terms of putting up a new weird city which only ressembles parts of Snow Crash a bit oO)

@tinker @ng0 I've been debating going through the process. I honestly don't know if it'd be a good idea right now.

Then again, it might be a perfect idea and will come in handy in the future.

@tinker like EU 🇪🇺 citizens use VPN to watch Netflix series a year early 😊

@tinker Ay-yup. Because having any semblance of privacy these days takes a hell of a lot of work.
