Wiped firmware on my #chromebook and installed #xubuntu. Had to remove a read only screw from the motherboard. Thanks MrChromebox.tech. Now I have a real laptop.

I have an older Chromebook with only a 16GB SSD that I hope can be re-utlized.
It’s an HP 11 that I picked up at Walmart for under $200. The internal SSD is tiny but there’s a micro SSD slot and I keep all my user files on that. I find this set up very usable for such a low price.
