Nice to see a few more Mastodon clients out there. GON didn't translate a few headings to English, but it's still usable. Even on the iPad.

Our average yearly rainfall total in Seattle on October 31st is 25.57 inches. We're already at 25.55 inches for the year. In May. 😳

So I get 10+ calls per week from "debt collectors" asking for some dude with a similar name to mine...

So I started taking their calls and getting name/numbers for them. Then telling them my info is on-file with my debt agent [INSERT PREVIOUS SCAMMER INFO] and they should contact him.

Good way to burn ~2 hours /week. Just doing my civic duty.

Apparently Amaroq doesn't tell you when instances you're not currently in have notifications… πŸ˜‘

Here I thought I wasn't getting SSL Inspected, and yet I am. And it's breaking stuff, including access infosec.exchange. Thanks, Obama.

Yeah, that Jive stuff. Awful, awful software. Hate it with the fire of a thousand suns. Then again, I've said that about lots of different software over the years.

It was kind of a coming out party for me this week as I make my transition out of a sales-type role into a marketing type one at Check Point. Both the community I helped create in 2005 (CPUG) and the one I am building (CheckMates) were at this year's CPX.

And yes, I was wearing a CPUG shirt in the CheckMates booth.

I swear people on pawoo.net follow random people on random instances "just because."

I think this might be worth some sort of mini-celebration. I never thought I'd live to see the day.

"the MP3 technology became patent-free in the United States on 16 April 2017 when U.S. Patent 6,009,399, ...administered by Technicolor, expired"

Hey @jerry has Mr Kalat joined this grand experiment called Mastodon?

I don't plan to shill for Check Point that often here, but if you happen to be at this week, I'll be there.

I also like in this demo they are using the IP address 1.3.3.7

Attending a vendor demo where they are using Burp Suite to demonstrate stuff. :metal:

Spent a while on the noagendasocial instance, figured I should poke my head back in here to see if it's picked up.

Let there be more light, Thing 2 said, and there was more light.
