But I do have to say that moving instances really showed me how active my followers are.
From the 225 followers on the old instance, only 56 followed me on the new one, so far..

@paulfree14 That's true, but I never knew how many people are active and just passively following my post and how many just once followed me and stopped using Mastodon or hardly ever checked back.

I'm pretty active on Mastodon, but it was a reminding toot that made me realise that you had moved...
@lx same here, I've had 600 followers, now I have 210 (after almost a months so most of people are new, initially it was barely 100)
@lx which then I guess means you won't have any less interactions.
That matters. The rest is just a number.
