I have an external drive formatted with ZFS. I have no idea what the pool name is. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I can mount this drive without remembering anything about it? Google hasn't been helping.

@chloe725 "zpool import -d /dev/disk/by-id/" should list all pools available. But indeed zdb -l should give you more information about the label on the disk itself.
@chloe725 "zpool import" lists al available pools. Then just search for your pool and issue "zpool import <poolname>" to use it
