Any tips out there for a basic cloud smtp server for an owncloud instance? We don’t have team email or anything. Mail gun? AWS? Something else? Just user sign up and notification emails, but we don’t want them to bounce due to a sketchy spam server. (Doesn’t have to be free)
@cguess Yeah, Amazon SES is super easy (if you already have AWS creds) and never bounces in my experience. And it's basically free for low-scale use like that. If you have no scruples about non-FOSS, it's a good way to go.
@apetresc thanks! I’ve been having issues with AWS TXT authentication, especially with Namecheap’s DNS for some reason. I’m giving them another shot.
