Some Congressional Democrats have suggested turning to surveillance technology to monitor the border instead of a physical barrier. But trading a physical wall for a digital surveillance wall that violates our civil rights is not an option. #sotu https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2019/02/reject-new-funding-border-surveillance-no-tech-wall

1. I can not imagine the users, children and teens, have full informed consent.
2. I feel dirty reading this article. No app (maybe antivirus) should install a root cert. This is terrible invasion of privacy and misuse of user trust.
3. No, just no.

If you ask me, everyone involved should be facing jail time now.

The key phrase: "...In 2017, President Trump signed into law the Rapid DNA Act, which, starting this year, will enable approved police booking stations in several states to connect their Rapid DNA machines to Codis, the national DNA database..."

Rewrote the code generating https://www.movielandmarks.com in #golang and switched to using #tmdb for the poster images since amazon links stopped working. My only complaint is that the JSON parser in Go doesn't give very useful error messages when I mess up the JSON, so I have to cat it through 'python3 -m json.tool' to check it.

This Prusa MK3 is an amazing piece of engineering. Assembly went almost perfectly (one wrong nut, a couple of holes needed some extra cleanup) with the calibration coming back perfect. #prusa
