I love Wikipedia, there has never been more information available to anyone. But it is always good to remember what it does not show.

@WPalant Wikipedia has become *exhausting* to edit. There are all these editors who seem out to pick a fight and are happy to sling all sorts of references to rules-but-not-rules WP pages to defend their BS, and know how to work the system to get their way. (3RR, deleting convos off their own Talk pages, etc.) There's no solid mechanism for reputation and surfacing repeated problems, which means accountability is very, very low.

And that just magnifies these broader social issues.
