I was asked to find out what’s wrong with a Mac – and I promptly remembered why I don’t want to use macOS any more. The system is a nightmare to troubleshoot. The built-in diagnostics are useless, and I don’t have a USB-C stick so I cannot boot other diagnostics.

Also interesting: a messed up German translation, the translator had a wrong context in mind. Just another reminder that localization is really hard. Even big corps like Apple struggle with it. The translations of a typical application UI are full of mistakes.
