Looking to try a relatively minimal but still capable of GUI linux implementation to build out some tooling on, any suggestions?

@Deveyus I think XFCE is supposed to be one of the best lightest distros. I haven't tried it yet, I mainly use Fedora, Ubuntu, Kali.

@gen3sec @Deveyus FYI Fedora has different desktop 'spins' you can use. I run the XFCE one. spins.fedoraproject.org/

@Deveyus how minimal you want? I usually use an Ubuntu Mini install with the xubuntu-desktop^ role (XFCE); but for even lighter installs I’ll use icewm and sddm instead

On *really* minimal installs I go openbox and no display manager

@darrenpmeyer Grabbed arcolinux, gonna give the i3 based version a try
