I've been working on an application which can help users relax and take breaks when working at the computer for a long time, we call it "Mindfulness at the Computer". If you like you can try it out by downloading it from here: https://mindfulness-at-the-computer.github.io/downloads/
We would love to receive feedback so we can improve the application or add new features 😃
My re- #Introduction #Introductions for the sudden second wave of tooters:
I'm Ken, under "Ken fu" on the Twit:
I'm a silly hacker, undercover philosophile, and Kung fu buff hailing from Maryland.
I'm a Infosec student, currently, and perpetually. I also root for the smurf team.
A couple heavy interest:

Nice to meet ya'll!
I feel like being Devil's advocate today. Many of you're on #Keybase and loving it. It was made by creator of OKCupid (dating site - sold). It's centralized, by design gathers your social graph, devices. It has a nice interface and is by invite only (hot!). Recently it turned into "all in one" thingy and will develop in that direction. It doesn't add anything in terms of key sharing. "But but.. it's open source" Right. Please, kindly link all your social accounts to verify profile, thanks :p

Valuable life lessons. Introspection, critical thinking, open-mindedness.
put down your infosec, and go outside. https://infosec.exchange/media/2qW18B8bjIrM8_k810A
Open Call: Need #InfoSec folks for a range of podcasts and panels. Open to all volunteers.
They’ve had good turn out but don’t currently have many women on the podcasts.
So women (or anyone else!) take a look, volunteer, and share your experiences and expertise!
In Layer 8, the user, a human, dies. As they die, they decompose back into base parts. They become the Physical. They become Layer 1. And, thus, the circle is complete.
This is the OSI Layer Model.
Like many others, as their popularity grows they move from building cool products and original ideas to operationalizing and tweaking other people’s workflows. Because they don’t understand or fully grasp the concepts, this frequently causes project decay and eventually death. (iAWACS growth and funding as an example) I suppose his Mastodon instance shall pass as well, though between now and then he will help make it a household name.
Well. Fuck the FCC.
If Govt and Corps can’t be trusted to provide us unhindered access to the Net.
We’ll do it ourselves.
Have a good holiday season. We have some work in the new year.
I have heard it said by others before but the longer you stay interested in security, be it information, network, physical etc, the more acutely aware you are that what you know pales in comparison to the vast amount of information available and being newly created everyday. You are not alone in feeling this. Keep fighting the good fight and find others who are positive and helpful in the journey. The person who says and acts like they know everything probably doesn’t.
Anybody following the network neutrality vote? Wondering if it's really true that none of the stuff about filtering or plans were true with title 2..

BEGINNER USER GUIDE 7:
Speaking of, there are three different types of toot timelines in Mastodon. The first and probably your main one is your own feed, consisting only of people you follow. The second is the Local feed - this consists of all the users in your instance, and only those users - it's great for getting to know some people in your network! The third is the Federated feed, which consists of every user on Mastodon - it can get a bit hectic and fast paced, of course!
EVERYONE, A WORD IF YOU PLEASE:
Thanksgiving is upon us. Many of you are looking upon the day with dread, I know. Please know: you are not alone. You are not the only person who feels alienated when they're around family. You're not the only one who is dealing with judgmental, bigoted, prejudiced relatives.
That is not to attempt to lessen your struggles; they are valid! But you're not alone! You have a whole support network here. Be strong and pull through!

Free market competition doesn't work when there is no competition.
That's why we need the 3 basic rules of #NetNeutrality: no blocking, no throttling, no paid prioritization.
